Scar prevention and treatment in 2025 includes a variety of options tailored to different scar types. Topical treatments like silicone gels, silicone sheets and moisturising products remain the most widely used. For more severe scarring, laser therapies, microneedling, and injectables such as corticosteroids or fillers are common.
